Wheeler/Plante Wedding: The Day After

After a night of dancing, eating and excitement you would think that there is no way this couple could have another event in them…but you thought wrong. The day after the reception, everything was brough to a close with a send off brunch at the Delaney House.

The sign of a great couple, in my opinion, is that they really are in this to not only make a weekend out of their wedding, but to also take care of their guests, and make sure they’ve had a good time.

Guests arrived into the event and were greeted with mimosas, bellinis, and punch, while orange juice awaited them at the tables. Thirty minutes later, the breakfast buffet was ready for them. The buffet included a fresh fruit salad, a variety of baked goods including muffins, bagels, danish, coffee cake, and croissants with whipped butter and cream cheese. These were followed by home fries, quiche lorraine, bacon and sausage.

As the guests moved through the buffet they were then greeted with waffle wedges with maple syrup and fresh fruit toppings, and then eggs benedict.

Seems like a pretty substantial and complete buffet, right? Wrong!

Guests were then pleasantly surprised to find an omlette station including: ham, bacon, sausage, cheese, peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, broccoli, and salsa.

The meal was of course accompanied by a beverage service of coffee, tea, and decaf.

If this isn’t the perfect send off for the guests and for these newlyweds, then I don’t know that one exists. These three events: the rehearsal dinner, reception, and brunch have been filled with so many fantasic ideas for couples looking into their own weddings.

These awesome ideas however, couldn’t have been possible with many other companies other than Log Cabin and Delaney House. I think I’m going to miss the Wheeler/Plante wedding, they’ve been so fun to write about! I hope that the next event is just as awesome, and I’m pretty sure it will be.
