A new event happening at the Log Cabin on January 30th, 2011 is the Modern Bar/Bat Mitzvah. The event, featuring Emily Haft Bloom, author of ““The Bar/Bat Mitzvah Planner” will have everything that goes into a Bar/Bat Mitzvah and more. Food, entertainment, presentations, sample tables, and lots and lots of fun! For $18 a family of up to four will get admittance to the event, and a copy of Emily Haft Bloom’s book!

Even better, all proceeds from the event will benefit Rachel’s Table.

This girl is one person who is extremely excited for this event! Being an intern this past summer, this was a project I got to work on in it’s infancy. To see it coming to life has been fabulous, and I cannot wait to see the final product. Don’t miss it!
