Fall in Love

As Fall is finally in full swing in Western Massachusetts, I find myself thinking about Fall Weddings and some popular trends that come along with them. I’ve heard many people talk about how unsure they are about what they would do, but in reality, this season couldn’t be an easier time for a wedding. Especially in New England, the color scheme is made for you, just by looking outside at the foliage. And so, with the inspiration of fall, and the gorgeous foliage-filled view of the valley from the Log Cabin, this is the first in a series of posts featuring some Fall wedding ideas!

Today, I’d like to focus on the favors… The Knot recently featured an article about the top 10 Fall wedding favors, and below are just a few!

1. Caramel Apples

One of my favorites, and that a recent wedding at the Log Cabin had, is using caramel apples as a favor. A popular autumn treat, guests will enjoy the apples, and your favors won’t be wasted! You can also get really creative with the apples, topping them with nuts or candies, or leaving them plain. These favors also allow you to do it yourself, if you’d like, a great inexpensive option!

4. Mini Maple Syrup Bottles

A New England favorite, maple syrup will warm all of your guests’ hearts, and the next time they have breakfast, you will be the topic of conversation!

10. Apple Butter

Apple Butter is another fall favorite, of course. Great as an alternative spread for your morning toast, guets will enjoy this sweet treat. This favor again allows your some creativity if you want to make and jar it yourself. Attaching a thank you note to the jar will really personalize your favors!
