Anonymous asked: My name is Jeff Ferrin the step father of the Bride April Vight. I wanted to take the time to let you know how wonderful it was to work with your establishment. During the reception we encountered one problem and it was addressed immediatley. From the start of the day we had Sarah let us in at 8 am and stayed with us throughout the majority of the day only to return and see us to the end right up until we left after midnight. She was a joy and very professional. From there we were greeted by very friendly concientious and professional servers who were able to meet our every need. Curtis the bar tender was a joy and very friendly. He was one of 4 includng Sara who told me when asked by me why they were so pleasant when things did not seem so good. The same response given individually was that they like working for The Log Cabin and that their boss treated them with respect and well. The only reason I tell you this is to say thank you for treating your employees well and as a result it makes them feel good about who they are and the job they do. In turn it makes for a better event for all of us who used your services. We have already recommended your place to others and have told them how great you all were. BETH: She needs a raise.... She was wonderful to us, knows her job and was able to be sure we understood what our roles were and her involvement in each step. Curtis took passion in his work and in serving his customers and was a joy to talk with. I was very impressed when he was informed by us that a mistake had been made on when we were ending and he had cleaned up and put everything away only to have to take it out again and make more drinks. He took it in stride and when I appoligized for having to have him stay an hr longer than anticipated he responded with look I like what I do I like who I work for and my wife is very understanding. I will just call her and let her know and see her an hr later. No big deal. So that in itself speaks volumes to an employee dedicated to his craft,customers and employer. THANK YOU CURTIS.... As for the rest of the staff from the kitchen to those who served us and those who work all night to make every wish come true during set up thank you. I hope you pay them well as they are deserving of what they earn as so much time and effort goes into being sure that those of us paying for the service are met with dignity,pride,enthusiasm and professionalism. I will leave it at that and say please keep up the good work and continue to support those who work for you and continue to guide and encourage them to be themselves and yet acknowledge there good works.
